Exchanges/Returns & Cancellation Policy
- Raise an exchange or return request within 14 days from the date when the product is delivered to the customer.
- After 14 days we do not accept exchange/returns.
- For any damaged/defective item received, the customer has to notify us within 2 days after the delivery, otherwise the request will not be entertained. For same, we would need images to be attached and sent to – info@aroundthecityshop.com
- Any custom made order is not valid for exchange/returns.
- Size exchange is valid upto 1 time only for items on Sale as well as for other items, depending upon availability.
- Returns is not valid for any discounted items or items on sale.
- We do not have a refund policy. We only offer refunds for return order in the form of store credit which applicable for a year.
- For a seamless exchange or return, kindly note that the items must be securely packed in its original packaging while at the time of pick up.
- Please note, that only authorised returns/exchanges of the garments will be accepted, without our authorisation, any garment sent to us will be not be entertained.
- Furthermore, we don't offer any in-house alteration services for our products before purchase or after the product is delivered to the customer. Ready-made piece will be given as is, so kindly read the product description before you purchase.
- Please note that at the moment, exchanges and returns are only allowed for domestic orders. We do not offer exchanges/returns for international orders, so kindly reach out to us at info@aroundthecityshop.com if you have any queries before making your purchase so we can assist you better.
Exchanges and Returns are only eligible if the product fulfils the following criteria below -
-The product will only be eligible for an exchange or return, provided the product is in the same condition and should not be damaged/used/altered/ washed and all the original tags should be in place.
-Any pieces that have stains of any kind, perfume smell, will not be eligible, hence kindly make sure that this does not happen while trying on the garments.
-The original pieces should be delivered to our warehouse address after which only we will issue store credit for a return order or arrange for an exchange piece for an exchange order.
- Please note, if in any case your pin code "non-serviceable" then you will have to paste a courier slip that we will send it to you across email, for the package to be picked up successfully for any exchange or return.
-This process takes 3-5 business days.
- Exchange of an item is eligible but it is subject to availability (Size and Style).
-Items are eligible for exchange only once and the reverse shipment fee of Rs.150 will be borne by the customer to send the initial order back to us. –
Customers can exchange an item with same value or higher value item only. –
Please note that, only after the original order reaches back to our warehouse then only we dispatch the new item of exchange.
-For returns, we will issue a store credit under the same order number and the store credit will be issued once the order is returned back to us.
-Do note, that the store credit in form of a gift card will only cover the price of the purchased item and does not cover delivery fees.
-The delivery fees or reverse shipping charges are non-refundable.
-A reverse shipment fee of Rs.150 will be charged to the customer to send us back the item to our warehouse.
- Returns is not provided for any discounted items or items on Sale.
What if I receive a damaged piece?
We ensure that every item that leaves our warehouse is quality checked, however if the customer receives an item with a manufacturing defect then we will replace it or refund the cost in the form of store credit as long as it is brought to our attention within 2 days after delivery of the order. We will require images for the same and the customer is required to submit images of the defective piece via the link available in the submit exchange/return request option on our website’s footer section. The item will be further inspected once it reaches back to us and then only we will either replace it with a new piece or offer store credit.
What if I want to cancel the order?
Once the order is placed on our website, and if you wish to cancel the order then kindly email us your full order number and name and other details at - info@aroundthecityshop.com within 12 hours from the time of placing the order. If you email us after 12 hours then no cancellations are allowed. If your order is already processed, which means the shipping process has started from our end within 12 hours from placing the order then also order cancellation will not be possible. If you still wish to cancel the order after 12 hours of placing the order on our website then we can only offer store credit in the form of a gift card which you can use for your further Around The City purchases. We take 2-5 business days to process the store credit from end.
